I will give this week a 4. It is very bittersweet to be ending my teaching experience in this classroom. I never thought that I would be so ready for it to end but also want to stay awhile longer. This week was a decent week. I have been a little bit stressed with trying to finish my portfolio but I believe it is because it looks like a lot.. when in reality, most of it has already been done.   A pleasant surprise that I received this week was gifts and lunch today from my CE and other teachers around me. I am overwhelmed with emotions and will never be able to thank them all enough for everything they have done for me. My experiences this week reminded me just how important it is to have positive relationships with your students and co-workers. Having these positive relationships has made this time very hard for me but in a positive way.      I will rate my overall experience of this week a 4. It was a pretty good week. I have finished my 10 weeks so now I am not teaching as much and things are a little more calmed down. However, I still have a lot to do.        A pleasant surprise that I had this week was receiving a gift from our media specialist for completing student teaching (almost). I have loved being at this school and working closely with all of the specialists and teachers. Everyone has been so kind and encouraging. My work taught me this week to take a moment and be appreciative and thankful for everything I have made it through. We are winding down toward the end of student teaching now, and it seems like everything was a blur. I realized this week that I’m almost finished and it’s going to be difficult to leave this group of students.        It finally came.. my '5' week. I knew it would come at some point but I was beginning to doubt. This week was a 5 out of 5. I have yet to give a week that rating because I knew that there could be better weeks to come. This one proved that. It was by far the best and most eventful week that I have had.      This week, I had a couple of pleasant surprises. The first was that I PASSED EdTPA!! I couldn't be happier about this and I am so happy that everyone passed! The second is that I GOT A JOB! What a week. It was the best week I have had in a long time and I finally see my hard work paying off. The lessons that my experiences taught me this week and overall are that I need to be more confident in myself. I doubted myself so much about getting a job and passing edTPA.
